“Cuffing Season”

Everyone knows that summertime is the best time to meet people and the reason is simple, everyone ventures out more with the warm weather rather than once it gets cold. Once the time changes, it gets darker earlier, people tend to go straight home after work and are out less and less as the air gets cooler. As we get ready to enter the hot month of August there is still time to make that connection before fall enters the picture. Believe it or not, cuffing season does take place in the cooler months beginning on November 5th. The cuffing season was introduced in 2011 and it is defined as the season of the year when single people get serious about relationships to have someone to “cuff”, cuddle, or to be with through the colder months. It actually makes sense! In the summer everyone is busy with kids, travel, and just simply enjoying the weather. In the fall, we slow down, we are feeling spent and just want to enjoy Netflix and chill. Everyone wants someone to make a big pot of chili with, put on your warm and comfy’s, light a fire and snuggle to binge-watch your favorite shows.
